Job Description

We are seeking a creative and experienced Clothing Designer who specialises in designing patient-centred apparel using antibacterial and antiviral fabrics. The ideal candidate will focus on enhancing patient comfort and experience through thoughtful design while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Design innovative and practical clothing using advanced antibacterial and antiviral fabrics, with a focus on enhancing patient comfort.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals and fabric technologists to ensure garments meet medical and safety standards.
  • Develop designs tailored to patient needs, from ease of wear to long-term comfort.
  • Participate in design reviews and refine concepts based on feedback from patients, medical staff, and internal teams.
  • Work closely with manufacturers to ensure designs are produced in accordance with specifications.
  • Research and stay updated on fabric technologies and the latest trends in healthcare-related fashion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: College and above
  • Working Experience: 3+ years of working experience

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in clothing design, ideally with exposure to medical or patient-oriented garments.
  • Strong understanding of antibacterial and antiviral fabrics, and how to integrate these into functional designs.
  • Proven portfolio showcasing your work in fashion, particularly patient or healthcare-related projects.
  • Experience in patient services or volunteer work in healthcare is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong communication and project management skills.
  • Flexibility to work remotely, or from a London-based location.
